Faced with an aging population, Shanghai will make elderly care one of the development priorities for the 14th Five Year Plan, continuously strengthen the construction of the elderly care service system, improve elderly care service facilities, enhance the level of elderly care services, and enable more elderly people to enjoy a happy old age. Our community elderly service center has been providing meal assistance services for the elderly since 2011 and has never stopped until now. At present, there are 39 meal assistance points in Zhuqiao Town, and it is predicted that by 2025, there will be 55 town level residential and village meal assistance points. The number of meal assistance personnel will increase again with the layout of meal assistance, and it is predicted to reach 2300 people.
